ஹைக்கூ திண்ணை செப்டம்பர் / ஒக்டோபர் மின்னிதழைத் தொகுக்கும் வாய்ப்பு எனக்குக் கிடைத்ததில் மட்டற்ற மகிழ்ச்சியும் பெருமிதமும் அடைகிறேன். இந்தப் பெறுமதியான வாய்ப்பை வழங்கிய கவிச்சுடர் கல்யாணசுந்தரம் ஐயா அவர்களுக்கு முதற்கண் எனது நெஞ்சம் நிறைந்த நன்றிகளைச் சமர்ப்பிக்கிறேன். ஹைக்கூ என்றால் என்ன, அதை விளங்கிக் கொண்டு அதன் விதிமுறைகள் பற்றி அறிந்து அதன்படி எழுத எல்லோரும் முனைகின்றார்களா என்பது கேள்விக்குறியே. சிலர் இலக்கண விதிமுறைக்கேற்ப ஹைக்கூ கவிதைகளை எழுதுகின்றனர். ஆனாலும் சிலர் இலக்கண விதிகளைக் கொஞ்சம் மீறிப் புதுமையாக, வித்தியாசமாக எழுதுபவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்...

அருள் வாக்கியே! அப்துல்காதிரே!

அருள் வாக்கியே அப்துல் காதிரே!
திருப்புகழ் பாடிப் புகழ்சேர்த்த மெய்ஞ்ஞானியே!

வெண்பா வினால் விளக்கேற்றியே
விந்தைகள் தான்செய்த இறைநேசரே!

எரியென்றே நீபாடித் திரியேற்றி னாய்
அரியணையில் அணையென்றே ஒளிபோக் கினாய்!
