அவருள்ளார் என்பதை மறந்து

மறதி மனிதனுக்கு
கடவுள் அளித்த வரம்
இல்லையென்றால் தினமும்
செத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பான்.

இருக்கும் நண்பர்களை
இளமையில் இழந்து விடாதீர்கள்
இறுதி காலங்களில்
பொழுது போகாது.

போகாத ஊருக்குப்
பயணிக்க எண்ணுகிறோம்
போகப் போகும் ஊரை
ஏனோ வெறுத்து ஓடுகிறோம்

ஓடும் ஆற்று நீரில்
கலந்து ஓடுகின்றன பாவங்கள்
காத்துக் கிடக்கின்றன
நமக்கான தண்டனைகளும்

தண்டனைகள் மட்டும்
திருத்தி விடுவதில்லை
காலமும் மருந்தானால்தான்
காயங்கள் குணமாகும்

குணமான பின்னும்
மறந்தான் இல்லை
பித்துப் பிடிக்கச் செய்த
அவளின் நினைவுகளை.
