கரிசல்காட்டு மண்ணில் பிறந்து ஏதுமறியாத பெண்ணாக வளர்ந்து திருமணமாகி இனிமையான திருமண வாழ்க்கை சென்றுகொண்டிருந்தபோது கணவரின் எதிர்பாரா மரணம் வாழ்க்கையைப் புரட்டிப்போட்டாலும் தனது விடாமுயற்சியாலும் தளராத தன்னம்பிக்கையாலும் வாழ்க்கையில் படிப்படியாக முன்னேறி தனது மகனைத் தன் கணவர் ஆற்றிய காவல்துறைப்பணிக்கே அனுப்பி, தானும் ஒரு அரசு பள்ளியின் தலைமை ஆசிரியராக முன்னேறி சாதனைப் பெண்மணியாகத் திகழ்வதோடு மட்டுமல்லாது தமிழ்மொழி மீது கொண்ட தாளாத பற்றினால் தமிழ்ச்சங்கம் போல ஒரு அமைப்பை நிறுவி ஆண்டுதோறும் விழா எடுத்து நூற்றுக்கணக்கான கவிஞர்களை உருவாக்கும், ஆதரிக்கும், வளர்க்கும், ஊக்குவிக்கும் பணியை ஆற்றிவருகிறார் கவிதைச்சாரல் சங்கத்தின் நிறுவுநரும் வடக்குப் பட்டு அரசினர் உயர்நிலைப்பள்ளியின் தலைமை ஆசிரியருமான திருமதி பேச்சியம்மாள் ப்ரியா அவர்களின் நேர்காணல்.

தமிழ்நெஞ்சம் இதழ் சார்பாக இனிய வணக்கங்களையும் வாழ்த்துகளையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.
வணக்கம் சகோதரா. தமிழ் பேசும் அனைத்து உறவுகளுக்கும் என் இதயம் கனிந்த வணக்கத்தையும் வாழ்த்துகளையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். தமிழ்நெஞ்சம் இதழ் சார்பாக உங்களோடு கலந்துரையாடுவதில் பெரு மகிழ்வடைகிறேன்.
1. தங்கள் சொந்த ஊர் எது? தற்போது எப்படி சென்னையில் பணியாற்று கிறீர்கள்?
எனது சொந்த ஊர் தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத்தில் விமான நிலையம் அருகில் உள்ள பொட்டலூரணி என்ற குக்கிராமம். நான் அரசு உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் பதினெட்டு ஆண்டுகள் தமிழாசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றி பதவி உயர்வில் உயர்நிலைப் பள்ளி தலைமையாசிரியர் பணியில், தென்மாவட்டங்களில் காலிப் பணியிடம் இல்லாததால் சென்னையை ஒட்டிய காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டத்தை தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் சூழல் உருவாயிற்று.
2. உங்கள் பெற்றோர் கணவர் குடும்பம் பற்றி ஒரு சில வார்த்தைகள்..
எனது தந்தை திரு ஆ. இராமசாமி. தாயார் திருமதி மு. சிவஞானம். இருவரும் ஆசிரியர்களாகப் பணியாற்றி ஓய்வுபெற்றவர்கள். பெற்றோர்களுக்கு எட்டு பிள்ளைகளில் நான் மூத்தவள். மூன்று தம்பிகள் இராணுவம். ஒரு தம்பி சுயதொழில். இரண்டு தங்கை கணவர் இராணுவம். எனது கணவரும், அடுத்த தங்கை கணவரும் காவல்துறை.
எனது கணவர் பெயர் சூடாமணி. காவல் துறையில் பல பயிற்சிகளை நிறைவு செய்தவர். மனேசார் கமாண்டோ பயிற்சி முடித்தவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத் தக்கது. காவல்துறையில் கமாண்டோ ஆசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றியவர். தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத்தின் துப்பாக்கி சுடுதளம் அவரது மேற்பார்வையில் கட்டி முடிக்கப்பட்டது. திறமைமிகுந்த அவருக்கு ஆயுட்காலம் அதிகமில்லை. சாலை விபத்து ரூபத்தில் அவரை இழக்கும் நிலை எனது முப்பத்து இரண்டு வயதில் ஏற்பட்டது.
3. ஆசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றும் உங்க ளுக்கு எவ்வாறு ஒரு கவிதைக்குழுமம் தொடங்க வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் வந்தது?
எனது குடும்பச் சூழல் என்றுதான் சொல்ல வேண்டும். கவிதைக் குழுமத்தை நான் முதலிலேயே தொடங்கிடவில்லை. பணியின் காரணமாக குடும்பத்திலிருந்து வெகுதூரத்தில் பணிபுரிந்ததால் மாலை நேரத்தில் பொழுது போக்கிற்காக முக நூலில் நுழைந்தேன். எனது முகநூலில் கவிதைகள் பதிவு செய்தேன். ’வாங்க பேசலாம்’ இதழாசிரியர் முதன்முதலில் எனது ஆக்கங்களை மாத இதழில் பதிவு செய்தார். நட்புகளின் அழைப்பினை ஏற்று அவர்களின் முகநூல் குழுமங்களில் பொறுப்பேற்றேன். ஆயினும் என் கவிதை தாகத்திற்கேற்ப செயல்பட முடியவில்லை.
ஏனென்றால் கவிதையோடு நூல் வெளியிட வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணமும் இருந்தது. முகநூல் குழுமம் என்றால் அது புதிய கவிஞர்களை உருவாக்க வேண்டும். கற்றலும் கற்பித்தலும் அங்கே நிகழவேண்டும். நிறைய எழுத்தாளர்கள் உருவாக வேண்டும். அவர்களின் ஆக்கங்கள் நூல் வடிவம் பெற உதவ வேண்டும். அப்போது அவர்கள் முகத்தில் தோன்றும் மகிழ்வைக் கண்டு மகிழ வேண்டும். இவையெல்லாம் நிறைவேற கவிதைக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கும் குழுமத்தை உருவாக்க வேண்டும். அவ்வாறு உருவானதே கவிதைச்சாரல் சங்கம்.
4. நாவல் எழுதுவதற்கெல்லாம் எவ்வாறு நேரம் ஒதுக்குகிறீர்கள்? நீங்கள் எழுதிய நாவல் குறித்து…
கொரானா காலம் எனக்கு நாவல் எழுதுவதற்கு உதவியது. நான் எழுதிய நாவல்கள் கரிசல் காட்டுக்காவியம், வானம் தொட்டுவிடும் தூரம் தான். இரண்டு நாவலுமே எங்கள் ஊரில் நடைபெற்ற உண்மைச் சம்பவங்களோடு சேர்ந்து புனையப்பட்ட நாவல்.
கரிசல் காட்டுக் காவியம் நூறாண்டுகால கரிசல் மக்களின் வாழ்வியலை விளக்குவது. இயற்கையோடு பின்னிப்பிணைந்து மழைக்கும், வெயிலுக்கும் வானம் பார்த்து ஏங்கிக் கிடந்த அவர்களின் விவசாய ஆற்றலை விளக்குவது. இராமையா என்ற இராணுவ வீரரின் காதலை விளக்குவது. இந்திய சீனப் போரை விளக்குவது. கருவேல முள்ளடர்ந்து விவசாயம் அழிந்துவரும் கண்ணீர்க் கதையைச் சொல்லுவது. இன்னும் ஆச்சி சொன்ன கதைகளை சொல்லாமல் விட்டது ஏராளம் ஏராளம்.
வானம் தொட்டுவிடும் தூரம்தான் மாணவர்களுக்கான நாவல். இரட்டைக் குவளை முறை, ஆலய நுழைவு ஆகியவை சார்ந்து நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்வுகளின் புனைவு. சாதியம் ஒழித்த நண்பர்களின் நகர்வு. கரிசலில் மலர்ந்த கள்ளிப்பூ.
5. எந்த மாதிரியான கவிதைகள் தங்களுக்குப் பிடிக்கும் ? ஏன்?
மரபு, புதுக்கவிதை இரண்டும் பிடிக்கும். ஆனால் பேருந்து நிறுத்தத்தில் ஏறி ஒரு கிலோமீட்டர் தூரத்தில் மறுநிறுத்தத்தில் இறங்குவதற்குள் ஒரு புதுக்கவிதை படைத்திட முடிகிறது. இலக்கண முறைப்படி அமைய வேண்டுமென்பதால் மரபுக்கு சற்று நேரம் ஒதுக்கத் தானே வேண்டும். அதனால் அதிகம் பிடிப்பது புதுக்கவிதைகளே…
கருத்தைப் பொறுத்தவரை பெண்ணி யத்திற்கு பங்கம் ஏற்படுத்தாத கவிதைகள் அனைத்தும் பிடிக்கும். காதல் என்ற பெயரில் அடிமைத்தனம் பாடும் கவிதை பிடிப்பதில்லை. சமூகத்தில் ஒரு மாற்றம் வேண்டுமென்றால் அது கவிதையில் முதலில் வேண்டும். எதுகையும், மோனை யும் இயைந்து நடந்திட சந்தச்சுவை சிந்தும் மண்மணப் பாடல்கள் மனதைக் கவரும்.
6. நிறைய புத்தகங்களை வெளியிடு கிறீர்கள். எவ்வாறு நேரங்களை ஒதுக்கி இந்தப் பணிகளைச் செய்ய இயல்கிறது?
எனது தனிமைக்கு மொழி துணை சேர்கிறது. பள்ளி நேரம் தவிர தூக்கம் கண்களைத் தழுவும் வரை தமிழே எனது தோழி. கவிதைச் சாரல் சங்கத்தின் நோக்கங்களுள் தலையாயது நூல் வெளியீடு.
எனது முதல் நூல் நான் வெளியீடு செய்த போது நூல் தயாரிப்பு பணி என்பது கண்ணைக் கட்டி காட்டில் விட்டது போல் இருந்தது. நிறைய அலைச்சல்.பொருட்செலவு. காலதாமதத்தின் காரண மாக மன அழுத்தம்.
புதிதாக நூல்வெளியிட நினைக்கும் எழுத்தாளர்களுக்கு குறிப்பாக பெண் எழுத்தாளர்களுக்கு இந்நிலை ஏற்படாமல் இருக்க உதவ வேண்டும் என்று நினைத் தேன் விளைவே அதிக நூல் வெளியீடு. நேரம் ஒதுக்குவது அவ்வளவு சிரமமாகத் தெரியவில்லை. தொலைக் காட்சியில் செய்தி தவிர வேறெதுவும் பார்ப்பதில்லை. தூக்கம் ஆறுமணி நேரம் மட்டுமே. இதனால் இப்பணி சாத்தியமாகிறது.
7. ஒரு பெண்ணாக இப்பணிகளைச் செய்வதில் எம்மாதிரியான இடர்பாடு களைச் சந்திக்கிறீர்கள்? எவ்வாறு அவற்றை எதிர்கொண்டு சமாளிக்கிறீர்கள்?
ஒரு பெண்ணாக கவிதைச்சாரல் சங்கத்தை நிருவகிப்பதில் பெருமை கொள்கிறேன். சுயநலமற்று மொழிச் சேவையாற்றும் பதினைந்து நிருவாகி களும் ஆண்டு முழுவதும் நல்கும் ஒத்துழைப்பு கவிதைச்சாரலின் வளர்ச் சிக்கு பெருந்துணை புரிகிறது. என்னோடு துணை நிற்கும் கலைவாணி சுரேஷ் பாபுவின் விழாக்கால சேவை மகத்தானது. கவிதைச் சாரல் சங்கத்தின் நிருவாகத்தில் உள்ளவர்கள் ஒரு குழுவல்ல குடும்பம்.
இடர்பாடுகள் என்று எதைச் சொல்வது? சாதாரணமாக ஒருவர் முன்னேறினாலே பொறாமை உள்ளவர்களுக்கு பொறுத்துக் கொள்ள இயலாது. இதில் ஆண் பெண் பேதமில்லை. அதுவும் பொதுச் சேவையில் விமர்சனங்கள் எழுவது இயல்பு தானே…!
எங்கள் சேவையைப் பாராட்டி விழாக் காலங்களில் விழாவிற்கென நன்கொடை நல்கும் நண்பர்களும் உண்டு. எந்தப் பங்களிப்பும் இல்லாமல் மாபெரும் கவிஞரான தன்னை தலைமைக்கு அழைக்கவில்லை என்று வேறுவகையில் விமர்சனம் செய்யும் சூத்திரதாரிகளும் உண்டு. சிறு உதவி செய்துவிட்டு பெண்களைவிடத் தன்னையே முதன்மைப் படுத்தி சிறப்பிக்க வேண்டும் என விவாதிக்கும் மேதைகளும் உண்டு.
இவை எல்லாவற்றையும் தாண்டி எங்களுக்கு ஆதரவும், பாராட்டும் தந்து ஊக்கப்படுத்தும் நல்லுள்ளங்கள் அதிக மிருப்பதால் இந்த இடர்பாடுகள் எங்களுக்கு பெரிதாகத் தெரிவதில்லை. உளி தாங்கும் கல்தானே சிலையாகின்றது? சிறுசிறு குறைகளையும் களைந்து அடுத்தடுத்த மொழிச்சேவையில் எங்கள் பணி புடமிட்ட பொன்னாக மின்னும் என்ற நம்பிக்கைப் பாதையில் நடைபோடுகிறோம்.
8. ஆசிரியராக, தலைமை ஆசிரிய ராகப் பணியாற்றும் போது தாங்கள் சந்திக்கும் சவால்கள் யாவை?
எனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் பணி எவ்வளவு சவால்கள் நிறைந்ததாயினும் அதை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வெற்றிநடை போடுவதே எனது இயல்பு. நான் தமிழாசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றிய காலங் களில் 95% குறையாமல் தேர்ச்சி விழுக்காடு இருக்கும். பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியர் பணியில் இருக்கும் போதே முதுகலை தமிழாசிரியர் இல்லாத நிலையில் கூடுதல் பணியாக மேனிலை மாணவர்களுக்கு தமிழ் போதித்து தொடர்ந்து ஐந்து ஆண்டுகள் நூறு சதவிகித தேர்ச்சி கொடுத்துள்ளேன்.
கல்வியோடு மட்டுமின்றி கும்மி, நாட்டுப்புற நடனம் முதலியவற்றில் மாணவிகளுக்கு பயிற்சி கொடுத்து மாவட்ட அளவில் முதலிடம் பெறச் செய்துள்ளேன். இவையாவும் நான் மொழியிலும், கலை யிலும் கொண்ட ஈடுபாட்டால் எனக்குக் கிடைத்த வெற்றியெனவே மகிழ்கிறேன்.
அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கான விளையாட்டுப் போட்டியில் ஆறுமுறை மாவட்ட அளவில் முதலிடம் பெற்றுள்ளேன்.
தலைமையாசிரியர் பணியும் சவால் கள் நிறைந்ததே… இடைநிற்றல் இல்லா மல் மாணவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து பள்ளிவர வேண்டுமாயின் ஆசிரியர்களும், தலைமை யாசிரியரும் சிறப்பாக செயலாற்ற வேண்டும். எனது பள்ளியில் மாணவர்கள் இடைநிற்றல் இருக்காது.
மாணவர்களுக்கு பள்ளி நேரத்தையும் கடந்து கராத்தே, யோகா, சிறப்பு வகுப்பு நடத்தி முழுத்தேர்ச்சிக்கு பாடுபடுகிறோம். கலைத்திருவிழாவில் மாவட்ட அளவில் வெற்றிபெற்று மாநில அளவில் மாணவி களைத் பங்கு பெறச் செய்தது வெற்றியே…
9. பொதுவாக இடமாற்றத்தின்போது எவ்வாறு மாணவர்களைப் பிரியும்போது ஏற்படும் துயரத்தைக் கடந்து செல்கிறீர் கள்?
என்னிடம் பயிலும் மாணவிகள் பதவி உயர்வு என்பதையும் மனதில் கொள்ளாது ‘‘எங்களை விட்டுப் போகாதீர்கள் அம்மா’’ என்று கெஞ்சும் நிலையே ஏற்படும். மற்ற பாட ஆசிரியர்களை விட தமிழாசிரியர்களை பிரியும் போது அதிகத் துயர் அடைவார்கள். மற்ற பாட ஆசிரியர்களை ‘டீச்சர்’ என்றும் தமிழாசிரியர்களை ‘அம்மா’ என்றும் அழைப்பதும் உண்மையில் தாய் – குழந்தை ஈடுபாட்டை ஏற்படுத்திவிடுகிறது. சில நாட்கள் குழந்தையைப் பிரிந்த தாயின் மனநிலையே தொடரும். காலம் எல்லாவற் றிற்கும் அருமருந்தாக அமையும்.
10. ஆசிரியர் பணியோடு தமிழுக்கான சேவை எவ்வாறு நேரம் ஒதுக்குகிறீர்கள்?
எனது ஆசிரியர் பணியும் தமிழ் சார்ந்ததே என்பதால் எனது வாழ்நாளின் முழுநேரமும் தமிழுக்கான சேவையாகவே அமைவதில் பெருமகிழ்வு. நான் விடும் மூச்சே தமிழாக நிறைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
11. தூத்துக்குடி பற்றி…
பாரதி, வஉசி பிறந்த மாவட்டம். உப்பு விளைத்தல் முக்கியத் தொழில். ஐவகை நிலமும் அமைந்த மாவட்டம். அடர் சிவப்பு நிறமுடைய தேரி மண்ணும், அடர் கருப்பு நிறமுடைய கரிசல் மண்ணும் சிறப்பு. தாமிரபரணி பாய்ந்து நெல்விளையும் பூமி.
‘ஜவான்களின் நகரம்’ என்று அழைக்கப் படும் முடிவைத்தானேந்தல் உள்ளடங்கிய பதி னெட்டு ‘பட்டிகள்’ உள்ள மாவட்டம். கீழடிக்கு முந்தைய நாகரிகம் உடைய ‘சிவகளை’ இங்கு உள்ளது. தற்போது அகழ் வாராய்ச்சி தொடர்ந்து நடைபெறுகிறது. பாண்டிய மன்னனின் தலைநகராகவும், துறைமுக நகரமாகவும் இருந்த கொற்கை இங்குள்ளது.
12. தங்கள் குழந்தைகள் பற்றி..
இரண்டு ஆண். ஒரு பெண். மூத்த மகன் கோபால் காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டத்தில் ஆசிரியராகப் பணிபுரிகிறார். மகள் சிவாதேவி தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத்தில் ஆசிரியராகப் பணிபுரிகிறார். இளைய மகன் இராமசாமி சென்னையில் காவல் துறையில் பணியாற்றுகிறார்.
13. தங்கள் படைப்புகள் பற்றி..
என் மனவானில், ஆவாரம்பூ, ஓரவிழிப் பார்வையிலே, யாதுமாகி, தேன் மழைச்சாரல், மனதின் ஓசைகள், உலகின் உயிர்ப்பு, இது பெரியார் தேசம் உள்ளிட்ட கவிதை நூல்களும், கரிசல் காட்டுக் காவியம், வானம் தொட்டுவிடும் தூரம்தான் முதலிய புதினங்களும், பதினோரு தொகுப்பு நூலும் படைத்துள்ளேன்.
தமிழக அரசின் அகரமுதலி ஆய்வு மலரில் தொடர்ந்து ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் படைத்து வருகிறேன். தங்கமங்கை மாத இதழில் ‘தாய் வழிச் சமூகம்’ என்ற தொடரை இருபது மாதத் தொடராகப் படைத்துள்ளேன். எனது நூல்விமர்சனம், கவிதைகள் தமிழ்நெஞ்சம் மின்னிதழிலும், பல்வேறு இதழ்களில் சிறுகதை, கவிதைகள் வெளிவந்துள்ளன.
14. தாங்கள் பெற்ற விருதுகள் பற்றிக் குறிப்பிட இயலுமா?

17. தங்கள் எதிர்கால இலக்கு என்ன?
இறுதி மூச்சுவரை தமிழுக்குச் சேவை செய்வது. கவிதைச்சாரல் மூலமாக கவிஞர் களுக்கு நூல்வெளியீட்டிற்கு உதவுவது.
18. தமிழ்நெஞ்சம் குறித்து தங்கள் கருத்து
பிரான்ஸ் தேசத்திலிருந்து வரும் மின்னிதழ் மட்டுமல்ல பொன்னிதழுங் கூட…. பல கவிஞர்களின் படைப்புகளை உலகறியச் செய்து மகத்தான சேவையை தமிழுக்கு ஆற்றுகிறது. அதன் ஆசிரியர் திருமிகு அமின் அவர்களுக்கு எனது நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். என்னோடு நேர்காணல் செய்த சகோதரர் இராம வேல்முருகன் அவர்களுக்கும் நன்றியும் வாழ்த்துகளும். வாசிக்கும் உங்களோடும் தமிழால் இணைந்திருப்போம்.
