“எமக்குத் தொழில் கவிதை;
இமைப்பொழுதும் சோராதிருத்தல்” என்பான் பாரதி. ஆசிரியப் பணி, ஆனைமுத்து ஐய்யாவுடன் இயக்கப் பணி என தீவிரமாக இயங்கிய வையவன் அப்பணிகளுக்கிடையே அதன் நடுவே பத்து கவிதை நூல்களை வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். அறம் சார்ந்த நேர்மையான வாழ்வு என்பது இலட்சியம். எந்த வெளிச்சத்தையும் போலிமையையும் விரும்பாத பாவலர் வையவன் ‘மனத்துக்கண் மாசிலன்’ என்பதை தன் நெறியாகக் கொண்டவர். தமிழ் நெஞ்சம் இதழுக்காக அவரை நேர்காணல் செய்தபோது….

கவிஞர் அன்புவல்லி தங்கவேலன்
01. தங்களைப் பற்றிய ஒரு சிற்றறிமுகம் தாருங்கள்.
என் இயற்பெயர் லோகநாதன். லோகம் என்பதை வையகம் எனத் தமிழ்ப்படுத்தி, 2003ல் கவிஞர் தமிழேந்தி என்னை வையவனாக்கினார். ஐ.டி.ஐ. ஃபிட்டர் தான் என் அடிப்படைக் கல்வி. இங்கிலீஷ் எலக்ட்ரிக் கம்பெனி, அடிசன், எம்.ஆர் எஃப் டயர் ஆகிய தொழிற் சாலைகளில் பணியாற்றியுள்ளேன். பிறகு ஓவிய ஆசிரியராக அரசுப் பணியில் சேர்ந்து தமிழாசிரியர், பொருளியல் ஆசிரியர் எனப் பதவி உயர்வுகள் பெற்று முப்பத்தோரு ஆண்டுகள் முடித்து பணிநிறைவும் பெற்று விட்டேன். பத்து கவிதை நூல்கள் எழுதி யுள்ளேன். தமிழ் இனம், மொழி, நாடு எனும் வேட்கை உடையவன். அது சார்ந்த பணிகளைச் செய்ய கிடைத்த வாய்ப்புகளில் பங்காற்றியுள்ளேன்.
02. எழுதுவதன் நோக்கமாகவும் எய்தப் படும் பயனாகவும் தாங்கள் கருதுவதைக் கூறுங்கள்.
தமிழில் ‘நுதலிப் புகுதல்’ என்பது நீங்கள் அறிந்ததுதான். ஒரு நூலை செய் வதற்கு படைப்பாளி ‘அதன் தேவையான’ ஒரு காரணத்தைச் சொல்லவேண்டும். மூன்று அறங்களைச் சொல்வதற்காக கண்ணகி காப்பியத்தை எழுதுவதாக இளங்கோவடிகள் சொல்வார். இப்போதுள்ள நூல்களுக்கு அந்த மரபு இல்லை. நான் உட்படவே சொல்கிறேன். துண்டுதுண்டு கவிதைகளாகவும், பலதரப்பட்டவையாகவும், பெரும்பாலும் காதல் கவிதையாகவும் எழுதுவோர்க்கு ‘நுதலிப் புகுதல்’ வாய்க் காது. என்னுடைய ‘தமிழ்க்காடு’, ‘மெய் பேசுகிறேன்’, ‘மின்னல் நரசிங்கபுரம்’ ஆகிய நூல்கள் நுதலிப் புகுந்தவை; ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட நோக்கமுடையவை. எல்லா நூல்களுக்குமே, கவிதைகளுக்குமே எதேனும் ஒரு நோக்கமிருக்கலாம். பயன் குறித்து காலம் முடிவு செய்துகொள்ளும். பாரதியின் கவிதைகளுக்கு விடுதலை நோக்கமும் பாவேந்தனின் பாடல்களுக்குத் தமிழ் நோக்கமும் இருந்தது. பயன்பாடும் இருந்தது; இருக்கிறது. மற்றபடி எழுத்துகளின் பயனை அதுவே முடிவுசெய்துகொள்ளும். உயிருள்ள எழுத்து வாழும்; பயன்படும்.
03. பெரியார் கொள்கைகளோடு தங் களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட ஈர்ப்புப் பற்றியும் பெருந் தொண்டர் ஐயா வே.ஆனைமுத்து அவர்க ளோடு தங்கள் தொடர்பும் பயனும் குறித்துச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
1999 ல் கவிஞர் தமிழேந்தி எனக்கு சிந்தனையாளன் ஏட்டை அறிமுகப் படுத்தினார். அதன்மூலம் ஐயா ஆனைமுத்து அறிமுகமானார். பெரியாரால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு நான் ஆனைமுத்துவிடம் செல்லவில்லை. ஆனைமுத்துவால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு பெரியாரைத் தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். நான் ஏற்கெனவே படித்துவைத்திருந்த பெரியார், அம்பேத்கர், மார்க்ஸ் ஆகியோரை ஐயா ஆனைமுத்து வழியாகத்தான் விளங்கிக்கொண்டேன். இந்தத் தலைவர்களைப் படிப்பதென்பது வேறு; விளங்கிக்கொள்வதென்பது வேறு; நடைமுறைப் படுத்துவதென்பது வேறு. ஆனைமுத்து, தமிழேந்தி இருவரும் என் இரண்டு கண்களுக்கு ஒளியூட்டிய விளக்குகள்.
04. இயற்கையோடியைந்த வாழ்வியல் பற்றிய அழுத்தமான பதிவுகளை உங்கள் நூல்களில் காண்கிறோம். இயற்கையோடு ஒப்ப வாழ்வது எப்படி?
இயற்கையோடு இயைந்து வாழ்வது குறித்து எழுதமுடிந்த அளவுக்கு முற்றிலும் எவராலும் வாழ முடிவதில்லை. சமூக, பண்பாட்டு, அரசியல், வணிகச் சூழல்கள் அப்படியாக மாறிவிட்டன. முடிந்த அளவுக்கு வாழலாம். அடுக்கு மாடிகளிலும் நகரச் சூழல்களிலும் வாழ்பவர்க்கு இயற்கை வரம் இல்லாமலே போய்விட்டது. நகரமோ கிராமமோ எங்கிருந்தாலும் கடைபிடிக்க முடிந்த ஒன்றிரண்டு சொல்கிறேன். எப்படி தமிழர் வாழ்வின் அடிப்படை இலக்கணமாக ‘நிலமும் பொழுதும்’ இருக்கிறதோ, அது போல மனித உடம்பின் அடிப்படை இலக்கணம் ‘உறக்கமும் விழிப்பும்’. இரவு ஒன்பது மணிக்குத் தூங்கப் போகவேண்டும். விடியல் நாலு முதல் ஐந்து மணிக்குள் எழுந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும். சூரிய உதயத் திற்குப் பின்னும் தூங்குவது என்பது முதல்கேடு. இரண்டாவது சீரான உணவு நேரம். மூன்றாவது கண்டகண்ட நொறுக்குத் தீனிகளைக் கண்ட நேரத்தில் தின்னக்கூடாது. மலம் சிறுநீர் ஆகியவற்றின் சீரான கழிவை அவதானித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். ஆறு மாததிற்கொருமுறை பேதிக்குச் சாப்பிட வேண்டும்.
05. சித்த மருத்துவத்தில் ஆழ்ந்த ஈடு பாடும் பயிற்சியும் உண்டா?
இல்லை. சிறுவயதில் கிராமங்களில் பார்த்த பாட்டி வைத்தியங்கள் நெஞ்சில் ஆழமாகப் பதிந்துவிட்டன. அதனால் அதன்மீது ஆழ்ந்த நம்பிக்கை உண்டு. தமிழ் சார்ந்த நூல்களைப் படிக்கப்படிக்க தமிழ் மண்ணுக்கான மருத்துவம் ‘சித்த மருத்தும்’ என்பதை உணரமுடிந்தது. அதனால் அதன்மீது ஈடுபாடு வந்தது. வேலையில்லாமலா சித்தர்கள் அத்தனை நூல்களை எழுதிவைத்துள்ளார்கள். நஞ்சில்லா வேளாண்மையை நம்மாழ்வார் முன்னெ டுத்தது போல நஞ்சில்லா மருத்துவம் நம் இயற்கை மருத்துவம். வாய்த்த வழிகளில் முடிந்த அளவு அதைக் கடைபிடிக்கலாம்.
06. பாவேந்தர், பாவலரேறு பெருஞ் சித்திரனார், உணர்ச்சிப் பாவலர் காசி. ஆனந்தன் இவர்களின் தாக்கம் உங்கள் எழுத்துகளில் ஓங்கி ஒலிக்கிறது எப்படி?
தமிழ் மொழி, இனம், நாடு என்ற சிந்தனையோடு எழுதும் எந்த கவிஞரின் பாக்களிலுமே இந்தத் தாக்கம் இருக்கும். காரணம் மேற்சொன்ன மூன்று பாவலர்களுமே அந்த உரிமைகளுக்காகவும் அதன் விடுதலைக்காகவும் ஓங்கிக் குரல் கொடுத்தவர்கள். மேலும் அவர்களின் நூல் களைப் படித்து உள்வாங்குவதும் ஒரு காரணம். பாவேந்தரையும் பெருஞ்சித்திரனாரையும் பார்த்ததில்லை. ஆனால் காசி. ஆனந்தன் அவர்களோடு சமகாலத்தில் வாழும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்துவிட்டது. இந்த மூவரையும் உள்வாங்கிய ஒருவரைச் சொல்லவேண்டுமானால் அது கவிஞர் தமிழேந்திதான். என் கவிதைகளின் தாக்கம் அவர்தான்.
07. டாக்டர் மு.வ. மேடைப் பேச்சுகளை விரும்பாதவர்; அவர் போலவே மேடைப் பொழிவுகளைப் பற்றிய அங்கதம் விரவிய தங்கள் நறுக்குகள் அம்புகள்போல் பாய்கின்றன. இஃது எங்ஙனம்?
நல்ல பேச்சை எவரும் வெறுக்க மாட்டார். மு.வ.வும் வெறுத்திருக்க மாட்டார். நானும் வெறுக்கமாட்டேன். திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார், கம்பவாரிதி இலங்கை ஜெயராஜ் ஆகியோரின் பேச்சுகளை நான் விரும்பிக் கேட்பேன். ஏன், அண்ணா கலைஞரின் பேச்சுகளை எவர்தான் வெறுக்க முடியும்?. கேளாரும் வேட்ப மொழிந்தவர்களாயிற்றே அவர்கள். நாம் பகடி செய்வதெல்லாம் மேடை நேரத்தை வீணாக்கி வந்தமர்ந்தோரை வாட்டி வதைக்கும் மேடைவாசிகளைத்தான். இந்த மேடைத் தின்னிகளின் பேச்சுகளில் நன்னூல் சொல்லும் ‘குன்றக் கூறல், மிகைபடக் கூறல், கூறியது கூறல், மாறுகொளக் கூறல், உலகமலைதல், வேறொன்று உரைத்தல், சென்று தேய்ந்திருதல், நின்று பயனின்மை போன்ற பத்து குற்றங்களுக்கு மேலும் பார்க்கலாம். எத்தனையோ லட்சக்கணக்கான மணி நேரங்கள் இவர்களால் வீணாகியிருக்கிறது. புற்றுநோயைவிட மோசமானது புகழ் நோய். இதெல்லாமும்கூட சொல்லப்பட வேண்டியவைதானே?. எனவே அவற்றைப் பாடுபொருளாக்கு கிறேன். என் பாணியில்.
08. மின்னல் நரசிங்கபுரத்துத் தலை முறையாகிய நீங்கள் கலைகளில் ஆர் வலராக இருப்பதில் வியப்பில்லை. கலைத் துறைக்கு தங்களின் பங்களிப்புகள் என்ன?
உண்மைதான். எல்லாருக்குள்ளும் ஒரு கலைஞன் உள்ளான். அது மரபின் வழி வருவது. அதேபோல திரைத்துறைக்குப் போகவேண்டுமென்னும் ஆசை எல்லா இளைஞர்களின் மனதிலும் எழுந்து அடங்கும். எனக்கும் அது வந்தது. 1988ல் சண்முகப்பிரியன் அவர்களிடம் உதவி இயக்குநராகச் சேர்ந்தேன். அதே நேரம் ஆசிரியர் வேலையும் வந்தது. நண்பர் நடிகர் நாசரின் ஆலோசனைப்படி ஆசிரியர் வேலைக்கு வந்துவிட்டேன். சில ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து, இயக்குநர் ஈ.இராமதாஸ் அவர்கள் இயக்கிய ‘வாழ்க ஜனநாயகம்’ படத்தில் உதவி இயக்குநராகப் பணியாற்றினேன். ஆர்.கே.செல்வமணி, கே.எஸ்.ரவிகுமார், வ.கௌதமன் போன்றோர் இயக்குநர் இராமதாசின் பட்டறையிலிருந்த வந்தவர்கள். வ.கௌதமன் இயக்கிய ஜெயகாந்தனின் ‘சினிமாவுக்குப் போன சித்தாளு’ படத்திலும் பணியாற்றியுள்ளேன். கலைத்துறைக்கு என் பங்களிப்பு எதுவும் இல்லை. பத்து கவிதை நூல்கள் எழுதியுள்ளேன். அவ்வளவுதான்.
09. பொதுவாக உழவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை குறித்தும், விவசாயம் பற்றிய தரவுகளோடும் நூல்கள் மிகுதியும் உள்ளன. நெசவாளர் பற்றிய பதிவுகள் குறைவே என்பது என் எண்ணம். உங்களது ‘மின்னல் நரசிங்கபுரம்’ நூல் அந்தக் குறையைத் தீர்த்தது. என்ன சொல்ல விரும்புகிறீர்கள்?
உண்மைதான். தமிழகத்தின் எல்லா தொழில்கள் சார்ந்தும், மண்சார்ந்தும், மக்களைச் சார்ந்தும் பல்வேறு நாவல்கள், சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்புகள், கவிதை நூல்கள் ஆகியன நிறைய தோன்றியுள்ளன. ஆனால் காஞ்சிபுரத்தைத் தொட்டு திருவள்ளூர், அரக்கோணம், திருத்தணி, சோளிங்கர், பள்ளிப்பட்டு, நகரி, புத்தூர் போன்ற குறிப்பாக கொற்றலை ஆற்றங்கரைக்குச் சொந்தமான மக்களின் வாழ்வியல் குறித்து நானறிந்து எந்த நூலும் இல்லை. இப் பகுதிகளில் வாழ்கின்ற லட்சக்கணக்கான கைக்கோள நெசவாளர்களுக்கான வாழ்வி யலைப் பேசும் முதன்முதலான ஒரு எளிய அறிமுக நூல்தான் எனது ”மின்னல் நரசிங்கபுரம்’ கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு. இன்னும் விரிவாக எழுதவேண்டிய கூறுகள் எவ்வளவோ இருக்கின்றன. காலம் அனுமதித்தால் அதையும் செய்வேன்.
10. நம் இளைஞர்களுக்கு கவிதை எழுதுவது குறித்து என்ன உரைப்பீர்கள்?
கவிதை எழுதுவது குறித்து எதையும் எவருக்கும் சொல்லவேண்டியதில்லை என்றே நினைக்கிறேன். அவர்களே எழுதுவார்கள். ஏதோ ஒரு காரணத்தால் எழுத வருகிறார்கள். பிறகு எப்படி எழுதவேண்டுமென அறிந்து சிலர் சரியான பாதைக்கு வந்துவிடுகிறார்கள். பலர் சறுக்கிவிடுகிறார்கள். எது சரியானது? என்பதில் கூட பல்வேறு கருத்துவேறுபாடுகள் உள்ளன. எனவே அவர்களின் மொழியை, நடையை, வடிவத்தை, பாடுபொருளை அவர்களே முடிவுசெய்துகொள்வார்கள். கவிதை எழுதுவது குறித்து எல்லாருக்குமான பொதுக்கருத்து ஒன்று இல்லை. காரணம், எழுதுகிற எல்லாருமே கவிஞர்களில்லை. கவிஞராயிருப்பதென்பது வரம்.
11. இனமானம், மொழிக் காப்பு, சாதி மறுப்பு போன்றவை கால ஓட்டத்தில் பின் தள்ளப்படுவதாக என்போன்ற முதியவர் வருந்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். பாவலர்கள் என்ன செய்யவிருக்கிறீர்கள்?
ஆம். இதற்கு உலகமயமும் வணிக மயமும்தான் முதன்மையான காரணங்கள். அடுத்ததாக இந்திய அரசமைப்பு. பாவலர் கள் மட்டும் கூடிப்பேசி முடி வெடுக்கிற செய்தியல்ல இது. பாவலர்கள், எழுத்தாளர் கள், கலைஞர்கள், அரசியல் போராளிகள், சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள் எனப் பலரும் இக் களத்தில் உள்ளனர். போதுமான வெற்றி இல்லை என்பதில் எனக்கும் வருத்தம்தான். இன்று இன, மொழி, நாட்டு உணர்வோடு ஏராளமான இளைஞர்கள் கிளர்ந்தெழுந் துள்ளனர். ஆனால் அவர்களின் ஆற்றல் ஊடகங்களால் கொச்சை படுத்தப்படுகிறது. வணிக அரசியல்வாதிகளால் வேட்டை யாடப்படுகிறது. மேலும் சட்டபூர்வமான ஆதரவும் பாதுகாப்பும் இல்லை. தமிழுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல இந்திய ஒன்றியத்தில் இருக்கும் அனைத்து வகையான மொழிவழி தேசிய இனங்களுக்கும் ‘பொது எதிரி’ இந்திய அரசமைப்புச் சட்டம்தான்.
12. தாங்கள் பழகிய பெருந் தமிழ்ச் சான்றோர்களை எங்க ளுக்கு அறிமுகம் செய்யுங்கள்.
அந்த வகையில் சிந்தித்தாலும் தமிழேந்தியும் ஆனைமுத்துவுமே முன் வரிசையில் வந்து நிற்கிறார்கள். அய்யா ஆனைமுத்துவை பெரும்பாலும் வெறும் இடஒதுக்கீட்டுப் போராளி என்றே அறிந்திருக்கின்றனர். அவர் ஒரு சிறந்த தமிழறிஞரும்கூட. தொல்காப்பியம் முதல் புறப்பொருள் வெண்பாமாலை இலக்கணம் பேசுவார். சமகால கவிதைகள்வரை என்னுடன் பேசியிருக்கிறார். கவிஞர் தமிழேந்தி மரபுக்கவிதை எழுதவும் அதன் பாடுபொருள் குறித்தும் நிறைய சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். இவர்கள் மூலமாக தமிழ்த்தேசிய பேரியக்கத் தலைவர் பெ.மணியரசன், எழுத்தாளர் இராசேந்திர சோழன், சு.ப.வீரபாண்டியன், புலவர் கி.த.பச்சையப்பன், இன்குலாப், ம.லெ.தங்கப்பா ஆகியோருடன் பழகியிருக்கிறேன். திருவண்ணாமலையில் வாழ்ந்த புலவர் அ.பாண்டுரங்கனார் அவர்கள் வழியே திருக்குறளையும் சைவத்தையும் உரிய நோக்கில் புரிந்துகொண்டேன். செங்கத்தை அடுத்த வளையாம்பட்டில் வாழ்ந்த தமிழர் கணக்கியல் மேதை கு.வெங்கடாசலம் அய்யாவிடம் தமிழரின் ஒட்டுமொத்த வாழ்வும், இழப்பும், வலியும் தெரிந்துகொள்ள முடிந்தது.
13. கவிதைகளில் சொல் விரயம் பற்றி உங்கள் கருத்தென்ன?
விரயம் விரயம்தான். அதில் மாற்றுக் கருத்தே இல்லை. பத்து அழகுகளைச் சொல்லும் தமிழ் இலக்கணம் அதில் முதலில் குறிப்பிடுவதே ‘சுருங்கச் சொல்லல்’தான். அதனால்தான் சுருங்கச் சொல்லிய வடிவிலிருக்கும் திருக்குறள் மற்ற யாவற்றையும் வென்றுநிற்கிறது. எனது ‘ஞானத்திலிருந்து’ கவிதை நூல் வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் பேசிய கவிஞர் இன்குலாப், “சொற்களைத் தட்டிப் பார்த்துப் போடவேண்டும். வீடுகட்டும் கொத்தனார் செங்கற்களைத் தட்டித்தட்டிதான் வைப்பார். அவர் அதைத் தட்டுவதன் நோக்கம் அது வெந்த கல்லா? வேகாத கல்லா? என்று தெரிந்து கொள்வதற்குதான். நாமும் வெந்த சொல்லா? வேகாத சொல்லா? என பார்த்து வைக்கவேண்டும். வேகாத சொல்லை நீக்கிவிடவேண்டும்” என்றார். நீங்கள் படித்திருக்கக்கூடும். ஒரு நெடுங்கவிதையால் சொல்ல முடியாததை ஒரு சிறிய ‘ஹைக்கூ’ சொல்லிவிடும். கவிதையின் முதற்கூறே சொற்சிக்கனம்தான்.
14. ஆரவாரமற்ற, நேர்மையான, அழுத்தமான நூல்களை வழங்கி யிருக்கிறீர் கள். உங்களை எப்படி அடையாளப் படுத்திக் கொள்ள விரும்புகிறீர்கள்?
என் அடையாளம் என் நூல்கள் தான். எவ்வளவு காலமானாலும் எனக்கான அடையாளத்தை அது ஏற்படுத்தித்தரும் என்றே நம்புகிறேன். முடிந்தவரை சொல்லுக்கும் செயலுக்கும் வேறு பாடில்லாமல் வாழ்கிறேன். நான்வேறு என் எழுத்துவேறல்ல. நான் சிறந்த கவிஞனாக இருக்கவேண்டு மென்பதைவிட ‘அறம் சார்ந்த’ மனிதனாக வாழவேண்டு மென்பதை நோக்கியே பயணிக்கிறேன்.
15 உங்கள் நூற்பட்டியல் ஒன்று தாருங்கள்.
என் மனைவியின் கவிதை (1998), ஞானத்திலிருந்து… (2000), மனசு சுற்றிய மாவளி (2005), சதுரங்கக் காய்கள் (2015), கிறுக்கும் நறுக்கும் (2017), சொல் வெளி (2017), தமிழ்க் காடு (2018), மெய் பேசுகிறேன் (2019), மின்னல் நரசிங்கபுரம் (2021), கதவுகள் (2021). பத்தும் கவிதை வகைமைகள்தான்.
16. இல்லம் பற்றிக் கூறுங்கள்.
மனைவி செல்வி. ஆசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றுகிறார். மூத்தமகன் செந்தமிழன் பொறியாளர். மருமகள் ரஞ்சனி, பெயரன் நவிரன். மூவரும் தற்போது ஜெர்மனியில் உள்ளார்கள். இளையமகன் பேரன்பு முதுகலை மருத்துவம் (சர்ஜன்) படித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார். அம்மா மங்கையம்மாள் 2019ல் இயற்கை எய்தினார். அப்பா ஏகாம்பரம் (98) இருக்கிறார். என்னுடைய தமிழ்க்காடு, மின்னல் நரசிங்கபுரம் நூல்களை அவர்தான் வெளியிட்டு சிறப்பித்தார். இப்போது வாழிடம் திருவண்ணாமலை.
17. மின்னல் நரசிங்கபுரம் இப் போது எப்படியிருக்கிறது?
