ஏப்ரல் 2019 தமிழ்நெஞ்சம் முகப்புப் படத்தை க்ளிக் செய்து இதழை தரவிறக்கம் (download) செய்துப் படிக்கலாம்!
பல ஆண்டுகள் அமெரிக்காவில் வசித்தாலும் எனக்கும் என்னுடைய கணவருக்கும் இந்தியாவிற்கு வந்து நம்முடைய தேசத்தின் முன்னேற்றத்தில் பங்கேற்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வம் எப்பொழுதுமே உண்டு. நான் இணையதளம் மூலமாக ஒரு கலைக் கழகத்தைப் பன்னிரெண்டு வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு தொடங்கினேன். இந்தியாவில் நிறைய ஆற்றல் மிக்க கலைஞர்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுடைய கலைகள் அத்தனையும் மக்களைச் சென்று சேர வேண்டும். அதற்கு நம்மால் முடிந்த உதவிகளைச் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கம் இருந்தது. சிறிய ஊர்களில் இருப்பவர்களும் பல கலைகளையும் கற்றுக்கொள்ள வழி வகை செய்ய வேண்டும். அதற்காக பல திறமை மிக்க கலைஞர்களை அடையாளம் கண்டு தேர்வு செய்து அவர்களுக்கு பயிற்சி அளித்து கலைகளில் ஆர்வம் உடைய அனைவரும் பல கலைகளைக் கற்றுத் கொள்ளும்படி செய்ய வேண்டும். இந்த சிறப்பான பணியை இந்தியாவில் இருந்து கொண்டு செய்தால்தான் நம் தாய் நாட்டிற்குப் பெருமை என்று தீர்மானம் செய்து இந்தியாவிற்குத் திரும்பினோம்.
